After Six Months of Lockdown, Guardian Jiu-Jitsu to Re-Open on September 9

After six months of lockdown due to executive orders from Dem. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Guardian Jiu-Jitsu will be re-opening on Wednesday, September 9.

Coverage of Guardian Jiu-Jitsu is included in today’s issue of The Holland Sentinel and elsewhere.

“I think what we offer isn’t just a physical activity, it’s important for health and to socialize,” Hagans said. “We’ve told our members all along that we’ll be opening on the first available legal date. I’m just excited to see them and talk to them again.”

The Sentinel previously covered Guardian Jiu-Jitsu during the lockdown here and here.

And of course, The Holland Sentinel also ran a wonderful article covering the gym’s original opening, back in 2019. We’re thankful for the coverage our business has received in our hometown newspaper. Support local journalism!

Guardian Jiu-Jitsu Is Opening Next Month

With a longtime coach & teammate as my partner, I am opening a martial arts academy next month.

It’s called Guardian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, and it’s located in Holland Town Center. We’ll be offering classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as kickboxing. I’ll be teaching several classes each week.
